ROSA’S RACING

In 1975 Andrew “Rosa” Rosamilia started building a bike from scratch. He started racing it in 1977 and continued for more than a 12 years - setting many records in his class. The bike has always had a stock FL/FX frame, with a carburetor running on gasoline. At first, the bike was running in the high tens. From 1980 to 1990 it prgressed from 10:50 to a 9:25 in the quarter mile. Terminal speed went from 120 to 138 MPH. Around 1980 it started setting most of the big twin ET and MPH records for its class. It ran in one configuration or another with different engine sizes, but always in the same frame and always with a four-speed transmission.
